In need of inspiration?
Why not start your visit by climbing the 240-metre Main Tower? You can admire the view of the city and then head towards St. Paul's Church. You will be near Römerberg, the famous heart of the medieval sector. Admire the Alte Nikolaikirche Church with its 51 bells, and end your religious visit with St. Bartholomew Cathedral.
Visiting Frankfurt Zoo with its 4,500+ species of animals is an absolute must. Enjoy a cider in the Sachsenhausen sector where you will find several of Frankfurt's traditional taverns. A visit to the Goethe House, in the Innenstadt neighborhood, will plunge you deep into the universe of this famous German playwright. And why not admire the Frankfurt Opera? You can even visit the old concert hall, Alte Oper, inaugurated in 1880 and rebuilt in 1953 after the bombings.
You will find many museums on the other side of the Eiserner Steg: Angewandte Kunst Museum, Weltkulturen Museum or Städel. And be sure not to miss Germany's second largest natural science museum, the Senckenberg Museum.
Would you like to get away from the crowds? Escape from the Frankfurt tourist traps with your rental vehicle. Discover the Höchst Castle, the ancient home of the archibishop's generals... a hidden gem that is worth the detour. Bethmann Park is a well-kept secret in Frankfurt. This magnificient space is a great place to enjoy nature and stretch out in a bed of flowers.
